The Kufuor Scholars’ Program provides a specialized three-year transformational leadership preparation for the Ghanaian/African youth.


The Foundation advocates good democratic governance and has instituted the Annual Governance Lecture to inform the public on critical issues of governance in Africa’s development


Through partnerships, the Foundation has introduced activities to enhance the socio-economic wellbeing of rural communities.

The 8th of December 2018, marks the birthday of His Excellency John Agyekum Kufuor. To celebrate this grand occasion, the JAK Foundation earlier this year launched a campaign dubbed Eighty for Eighty (80 for 80) to raise 80 million Ghana Cedis (approx. USD15 Million) for an endowment fund aimed at sustaining the vision of H.E the Chairman of the foundation. The former president envisions an establishment of a peaceful, well governed and economically sustainable society in Ghana and Africa on the pillars of the foundation -leadership, governance and economic development
